Hello ,
I was recently reminded of a very important shift in perspective.
Health is more than the absence of symptoms or disease.
Health is not just the absence of something we don't want.
Health is the presence of something we do want.
When you are living with a chronic health challenge it is easy to get so focused on how to "fix" or "remove" or "change" a symptom or state of disease. It can feel like a full time job at times doing all the things to support health. Often times falling into the line of thinking of "when I no longer have these symptoms (insert anything you are working to change), I will.........". This line of thinking can put joy on pause. I guarantee there is something you can do right now to add more joy to your life. It is often the small things that have the biggest change.
When we see health only as the absence of something we don't want, we spend our time moving away from, resisting and protecting against.
What if you were to shift just slightly to Health is the presence of something we do want. Looking through this lens gives you something to move toward. It is empowering and inspires us to stay on the path.
What can you add to your life that brings joy right now?
What can you do today that lights you up, despite not feeling your best?
Think about adding to elevate your health vs eliminating.

This is an amazing opportunity to get LIVE support between office visits. The first 30 minutes consist of an educational presentation and the second 30 minutes you're invited into questions, answers and community conversation. Those that utilize weekly Group Visits have the added healing benefits of community!
Community Connection Group Visits are designed specifically to support everyone through the rocky road of healing. Group visits are magical, because each person witnesses that EVERYONE is struggling in their own way. Everyone is both a teacher and student, and it can be a great way to get support and help on the smaller symptoms before they accumulate into larger problems.
