Hello ,

As we enter the holiday season, I invite you to do so with intention and joy.

I love this teaching and it seems timely.

Hara hachi bun me

Hara hachi bun me (腹八分目) (also spelled hara hachi bu, and sometimes misspelled hari hachi bu) is a Confucian[1] teaching that instructs people to eat until they are 80 percent full.[2] The Japanese phrase translates to, "Eat until you are eight parts (out of ten) full",[2] or "belly 80 percent full".[3]

Take a few minutes this weekend to choose how you want to feel as you move through the holiday season.  Ease, Joy, Connection, Grounded, Settled, Rested, Festive, Calm, Grateful........

What are 2-3 things that will support creating this way of being or the feeling you want to create?

What is one action you can do each day to check in and course correct if needed?

Take care of each other!

Be kind and ease on in to your week,

Joyfully,

Lynn 🌈

Shared Tips from fellow ISH Members

I love the conversation and sharing that happens at group visit, last week we chatted about topical Magnesium a great way to add mag with out another pill.  These two are local sources:

Magnesium Balm reconnectskincare.com She is in Pagosa Springs and it at the Farmers Market every Saturday during the season.

Luna Magnesium infused Tallow butter at James Ranch Market.

White Bean Kale Recipe

from last week's group visit

Notes:

I used canned beans

substituted dried oregano and thyme for the fresh rosemary (because I used what I had)

Simple, nourishing and yummy!
