January is coming to a close! 


I hope this month has brought you moments of joy, good health, and meaningful connections. It's been a pleasure meeting more of you and being a part of your journey.


In this email, I will cover our scheduling system and the Charm patient portal. If you have any further questions, please reach out to me.

As ISH grows, Lynn and I are continuously looking for ways to improve our process for members. My main role is to provide help and support for ISH members. Whether you need help scheduling, accessing member benefits, or just want to connect, I am here for it all.

For any of our new ISH members, I will be sending the weekly member email the last Friday of every month to cover logistical topics, answer frequently asked questions, and provide tips & support. If you have a specific topic/question you would like me to cover in my monthly email, please send me your ideas through this FORM.

ACUITY SCHEDULING VS CHARM HEALTH

At Integrated Spectrum of Health, we use two different programs to schedule appointments and manage health related services: Acuity Scheduling and Charm Health

In this segment, I will explain what we use each of these programs for and answer some common questions.

All ISH membership plans are managed and billed through Acuity Scheduling. This allows for recurring payments and allotting visit minutes for each monthly cycle. Therefore patients also schedule follow up appointments through Acuity. 

Using Visit Minutes

Your membership plan will automatically renew on the same date every month. With each renewal, you are allotted visit minutes to use to schedule visits with Lynn. These visit minutes do NOT rollover. Therefore, you want to schedule your visit(s) before your next payment goes through. Your scheduled visit does not need to occur within that payment cycle - you just need to use the minutes.  So if you are going on vacation or will miss a month use your visit minutes to schedule further out.  


Payment Method

Your Acuity account has a payment method on file. This same method will be used for each membership renewal date unless you update or change the card on file. If your payment method fails, you will receive an email that provides instructions on updating your payment method. 

We use the Charm Health Portal for everything health related. This includes pre-visit questionnaires, labs, documents, records, and secure messaging. We also use charm for some billing purposes.

Pre-Visit Questionnaires

Before each visit, you will receive pre-visit questionnaires. You will receive an email notification that you have received questionnaires, promoting you to log in and fill out your questionnaires. The more thorough your pre-visit questionnaires are, the better Lynn can be prepared to address your concerns during your visit. 

Charm Portal Messaging

Charm messaging is secure, meaning it is the best option for communicating about anything health related. Patients can message Lynn, Jessica, and/or Hailey. Charm message is the best way to reach Lynn. While Lynn will typically respond quickly, please allow up to 24-48 hours for a response.

Payment Method

Some patients will have a card on file in their Charm patient portal.  We use this for lab payments and other health related services. Please note that this payment method may be different than the payment method used for your membership plan (in Acuity). If you need to change or update your payment method, you will have to do so in your Charm patient portal and your Acuity account.

COMMUNITY

Have you checked out ISH weekly group visits yet?
Group Visits are every Tuesday from noon-1pm

Group Visits are an amazing opportunity to get LIVE support between office visits.  The first 30 minutes consist of an educational presentation and the second 30 minutes you're invited into questions, answers and community conversation.  Those that utilize weekly Group Visits have the added healing benefits of community!


Look for meeting invites that are sent out on the last Friday of the month for the upcoming month's group visit dates.
