I hope this finds you settled and nourished.

Last week at group visit, we tapped into community and creativity with open discussion and making valentines.  It was fun to chat, create and connect! ISH Jessica Bruno, is leaving ISH.  She will be working full time at a local functional medicine practice, simplifying her life and focusing on her precious family.  Jessica has been an incredible asset to ISH, supporting members, practice growth and expansion of ISH through her knowledge and expertise of nutrition and lifestyle over the past 2 years.  I have benefited tremendously in my collaboration with Jessica!

Jessica will see members through the end of February.  I am thrilled to announce that we are currently in the process of onboarding Kimberly Leonard as ISH new functional nutritionist and lifestyle coach.  Kimberly has a wealth of experience and is excited to get started!  Kimberly will work with Jessica to create a seamless transition through the end of February.   More details on scheduling with Kimberly soon!  As we get things transitioned, if you need to schedule with ISH nutritionist, reach out to Hailey for support at support@integratedspectrumofhealth.com



Kimberly Leonard (Kim) is an accomplished Board certified CNS Certified Nutrition Specialist®  with an LDN Licensed Dietitian (Nutritionist) in Maryland.  Her journey into the realm of nutrition began with a fervent dedication to helping others.

Graduating with a BA in Psychology and Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College, Kim initially delved into trauma therapy, where she made a meaningful impact in the lives of children and teens.

Her path took a profound turn when faced with her own battles—having overcome cancer three times and navigating her children's health challenges and food allergies. Motivated by personal experiences, Kim embarked on a transformative journey to empower others through nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.

She made a decision to use her new skills and passion professionally after accumulating certifications as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), Culinary Nutrition Expert, and Instructor (CNE). She later fortified her knowledge by attaining an MS in Clinical Nutrition from Sonoran University of Health Sciences and completing board certification requirements by the BCNS.

Based in Webster, NY, Kim shares her life with her husband, daughter, and two sons. Beyond her work, she finds joy in family adventures, exploring the outdoors, embraces culinary experimentation, sewing, and continuously enriches her understanding of nutrition through research and learning.

Kim's passion lies in guiding others towards improved health, wellness, and enhanced quality of life through the integration of wholesome eating habits and holistic lifestyle adjustments. Her multifaceted expertise, coupled with her personal journey, serves as an inspiration and testament to the transformative impact of nutrition on overall well-being.

📰 In the News

A new study out of Washington University School of Medicine found that more physical activity correlated with larger brain size in healthy adults. 


Most of the study participants exercised 4 days per week, but the researchers said that even small amounts of exercise (like walking 4000 steps per day) were beneficial. 


We don’t always see the results of our efforts immediately, but taking care of our health will pay off in the long run.

🔍 Did You Know?

The vagus nerve regulates everything from heart health to metabolic health to immune function, and it is strongly influenced by what is going on in the gut. 


That means that anything you do (or eat) to affect gut health will probably also affect vagal tone. 


Some nutrients that support better vagal tone are probiotics, omega-3s, B vitamins, and fiber. The Mediterranean Diet is also linked with better vagal tone.

Group Visits are every Tuesday from noon-1pm

Group Visits are an amazing opportunity to get LIVE support between office visits.  The first 30 minutes consist of an educational presentation and the second 30 minutes you're invited into questions, answers and community conversation.  Those that utilize weekly Group Visits have the added healing benefits of community!
