Hello Friends,

Welcome to December, a time for reflection, gratitude and connection.  I am so grateful for all the lessons, successes, failures, challenges, connections and experiences over the past year!  Building Integrated Spectrum of Health Functional Medicine Practice has been a dream for a long time and is coming to fruition! Seeds are blossoming and I am having a blast creating an innovative medical practice to meet people where they are in their healing journey.  I love bringing color, fun, joy, community and vitality to the healing space.  I am passionate about whole person health, truth in medicine and personalized care.  Join me in creating a whole new way to heal!

As we approach winter solstice how can you step away from the frenetic holiday buzz and honor the connection to the natural world? I invite you to slow down a bit, take time for yourself to pause and reflect.

What do you want to take into 2022?
What is no longer serving you that you can release and leave in 2021?
How can you listen deeply to the innate wisdom of your body and what it is telling you?

I have big plans for 2022!  I can't wait to share!

Simplify

One of the easiest ways to SIMPLIFY is by separating planning and execution. Call a friend, chat with a neighbor, complement the grocery store clerk, smile at a stranger, buy coffee for the person behind you, move your yoga mat to make room, send loving kindness to those who have different opinions than you...........and on and on........Repeat

Now, apply this to HOW you eat.
How you eat is equally if not more impactful to your health
then what you eat.

Do you eat on the run, between meetings, at your desk, in your car, standing up, fast, barely chew, while on your phone or other multitasking?
or
Do you sit mindfully on your own or connecting with others, chew thoroughly, notice food textures and the subtleties of seasonings, and savor your food?

This is the hardest one for me!
