Hello ,
I work with people in all different stages of health and wellness. The health goals differ, health histories differ, genetics and epigentics differ and their why of coming to me is different.
What is NOT different is the importance of supporting a strong foundation.
Starting with foundations of health is the same and non-negotiable for ALL. Now, that does not mean that the foundations of health are not personalized for each person but the basics are the same.
I could do a whole newsletter on each of these but for now check in with each category and do a self assessment of your foundations of health.

Sleep - Start your day with natural light first thing in the morning, this sets your circadian rhythm and will improve sleep quality. Quick tips HERE
Sun (Light) - time outside, in nature in the elements, sun has gotten a bad wrap but there are many benefits from daily sun exposure. Learn more HERE
Stress - Play, breathplay, movement, connection and nature ALL support your body to experience and respond to stress from a resourced place. This will mitigate the physiological damage that happens with chronic stress gone unchecked.
Touch - Humans need touch. Intimacy, hugs, kisses, handshakes, bodywork, massage, pets are all fantastic ways to add touch to your day.

Lower Magnesium Linked to Metabolic Syndrome
|
In a new study, researchers examined the relationship between magnesium status and metabolic syndrome in more than 15,000 US adults.
Participants were given a “magnesium depletion score,” and results showed that each unit increase in this score increased the odds of metabolic syndrome by about 30%.
Magnesium participates in hundreds of enzymatic reactions in the body!! Good food sources are nuts, seeds, and green leafy vegetables.

Bloating Can Have Many Causes
|
Bloating is not normal. If it doesn’t resolve with simple strategies, it could be a sign of something else, such as:
▪️ Parasites
▪️ Low stomach acid
▪️ Gut motility issues
▪️ H.pylori overgrowth
▪️ Low digestive enzymes
▪️ Dysbiosis (disrupted gut microbiome)
▪️ Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)
