Hello ,
Lately, my system has been seeking the remembrance and practice of presence.
I invite you to create space to linger in presence. I find that if I am not intentional with the pause, I blink and another week has passed, and I think hmmmmm what just happened!
My Friday Gift to you is this poem........
FOR PRESENCE | JOHN OβDONOHUE
Awaken to the mystery of being here
and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
Have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
Receive encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
Respond to the call of your gift and the courage to
follow its path.
Let the flame of anger free you of all falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame.
May anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of
soul.
Take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek
no attention.
Be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven
around the heart of wonder.
EASE on in to presence,
~ Lynn π

The Visit Summary
# 1 thing to do to keep things moving forward is to
READ YOUR VISIT SUMMARY!
After each visit with Lynn and Kim you will get a visit summary
This includes the things to focus on until your next visit
ππΌ Open and Read your Visit Summary
ππΌ Grab the 1-3 things to be working on, keep it simple
ππΌ Write these down in a journal or on a post it somewhere where you can see this regularly
Healing is not done by 1 or 2 big things done once
Healing is the seemingly small things your do CONSISTENTLY
Brick by brick......the house is built
Think about it, if you did something for 20 min a day, what would that look like in a year?

A study recently published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology looked at the mechanisms to explain how physical activity benefits cardiovascular health, and the results might surprise you!
Over a follow-up of 10 years, people who met physical activity recommendations had a 23% lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease, and brain imaging tests showed that this was in part because of lower stress-related brain activity.
Just remember: the benefits of moving your body are countless, and we keep discovering more!

Tired of hearing about how to eat for blood sugar balance?
No problem.
Letβs look at some things you can do to support blood sugar regulationβthat have nothing to do with food!
β
Daily Movement
β
Walks After Meals
β
7+ Hours of Sleep
β
Plenty of Water
β
Stress Management
Nothing (definitely not blood sugar) happens in isolation.
Thatβs why we always take a whole-body, whole-person, and whole-life approach to healing.

π Did You Know? |
|
Stress can fuel blood sugar dysregulation, and blood sugar dysregulation can fuel stress.
When youβre stressed, your body produces cortisol and adrenaline. These increase glucose in the blood as a source of energy for your cells to respond to the perceived threat (fight or flight!)
BUTβ¦when you arenβt actually running from a saber-toothed tiger, that spike in blood sugar is kindaβ¦EXTRA.
βοΈ Thatβs how stress can be a driving force behind insulin resistance and blood sugar problems over time.
Now letβs look at the other way around π
When you eat an excess of sugar or refined carbs, you get a sugar spike followed by a crashβwhich your body perceives as a stress and releases cortisol and adrenaline.
βοΈ Thatβs how sugar causes stress.
Itβs a vicious cycle but one that is entirely possible to break!
