Hello ,

It can be easy to let it all go and "start in January".

I find that the BOTH AND can be a great way to approach the Holidays and the choices that support feeling great!  BOTH inviting ease (loosening the reigns) AND intentionally choosing lifestyle tools that support you.

What 3 things will anchor you to your health goals that you will choose into over the next 2 weeks? (Grab a piece of paper and write them down now)

I will share mine

1. Yoga (roll out my mat and move 15 min a day)

2. Water with electrolytes 64 oz a day

3. Breath practice 5 min a day

The swirl of the holiday season can consume you OR you can go with the flow, settle your system and anchor yourself to a few things that set you up for feeling the way you desire and keep you on course to what you say is important.

Easy travels friends,

Poor Sleep Linked to “Older” Brain Age

Based on sleep questionnaires and brain MRIs, a new study found that issues like trouble falling asleep or waking too early around age 40 were linked with an older brain age.

We all know that life is better with better sleep, but what I want you to know is that if you struggle with sleep now, that doesn’t mean you always will.

We have a deep toolkit of strategies to support sleep naturally. If you’re curious about what that might look like for you and how we can help

Supplements Can Support Immune Health

Nutrition and supplements can be a helpful way to support immune function through the winter season. Not to be confused with “temporary support” products, which are meant to be taken when you’re feeling unwell, here are some “seasonal support” supplements for longer term immune resilience:

Reishi is rich in beta-glucans, which modulate immune function over time. Powdered reishi can be mixed into coffee or brewed as tea.

Probiotics can be consumed as supplements or in fermented foods. Since 70%-80% of the body’s immune cells reside in the gut, probiotics are a powerful immune support.

Vitamin D deficiencies can increase the risk for falling sick or getting more severe infections. Especially during darker months, consuming enough vitamin D is essential for immune function.

Journaling Prompts for New Year Reflections

As we’re about to turn the calendar to 2025, this is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and dream a little.

So, here are some journaling prompts to reflect & reset for the New Year:

  1. What are three wins (or more!) I’m proud of achieving in 2024?

  2. What is one thing I want to let go of before the new year?

  3. Who or what supported me in surprising ways this year? What am I feeling grateful for?

  4. What do I want 2025 to be about? What do I want more of?

  5. In one year from now, what do I want to look back and see?

I believe that living with intention is part of optimal health and that the end of the year can be a gentle reminder to pause, reflect, and set a vision for what’s next.
