Hello ,
Providing safety inputs to your body is key to health and vitality.
Safety inputs move our cellular processes into the health cycle (the place we function in an optimal state). This is not a fixed state but is dynamic and continually changing through the signals the body is receiving. This means we have agency!
This does not come through a supplement or medication it comes through how we live. The moments that make up our minutes, hours, days and before we know it years.
Our bodies are designed to be vital and to function through integrated systems (far to many to count). The brilliant intelligence of our bodies cannot be understated. When things get out of balance or go awry it can be easy to default to the thinking that "my body is broken", "I need to fix" and/or the endless searching for the next new modality or supplement to fix. In and of itself this cycle is chasing dopamine and keeping people sick.
I do not mean to imply that we do not need healing modalities, supplements, and medications to support healing, because often times we need to untangle and remind our body and mind that we are WHOLE and NOT broken.
At the most foundational level inviting safety signals into our moments, hours, days and years is the way back home to vitality.

Physical touch (pets and humans)

Movement
Creative activities (doodling, drawing, cooking, dancing, gardening......)

New research published in JAMA Neurology shows that up to 44% of dementia is preventable.
The study found that maintaining vascular health from midlife through your 70s can significantly lower your risk of developing dementia before age 80.
Early prevention was KEY.
While we can’t change our genes, we can take steps to address blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, sleep and movement.

One of the best things you can do for your health is to swap out chemical-laden products for clean alternatives.
You don’t have to overhaul everything at once, but there are some helpful swaps to consider!
Swap scented candles and plugins → for essential oil diffusers or beeswax candles
Swap conventional all-purpose cleaner → for castile soap + vinegar + essential oils or a clean brand with full ingredient transparency
Swap dryer sheets → for wool dryer balls + a few drops of essential oil
Swap antibacterial hand soap → for gentle, unscented soap
Swap conventional deodorant → for aluminum-free natural deodorants
Swap baby oil → for organic body oil (jojoba, coconut, almond) or shea butter
Swap toothpaste with artificial dyes → for natural toothpaste
Swap plastic loofahs and sponges → for natural fiber brushes and washcloths
