Hello ,
A patient asked me this week for a recommendation for a podcast, music or something to listen to that was uplifting, light and interesting. Not a learning, health or self help offering but just for the sake of joy making. I was stumped, and that really made me take pause.
So I am asking YOU for suggestions, so I can compile a list for us ALL to have when a little inspiration, joy and something just for the fun of it is needed.
What do you listen to (podcast, music, comedy), read, create or do just for the fun of it?

I really want to hear from YOU! That is what makes this community a community, shared inspiration.
Walk slowly,

A new study compared the Mediterranean diet alone to the Mediterranean diet PLUS calorie control, moderate exercise, and behavioral lifestyle support.
They found that adding those 3 additional areas of support reduced the risk of diabetes by 31% compared to the diet alone.
This is a great reminder that it’s often the combination of things we do for our body that gets the result rather than just one quick fix.

Pro Health Tip |

Ever wonder why mouth breathing gets such a bad rap? It’s because breathing through your nose does all these things:
✔️ Filters, warms, and humidifies air before it hits your lungs
✔️ Produces nitric oxide, which supports oxygen delivery and immune health
✔️ Helps you sleep better (vs. mouth breathing, which can cause fatigue and dry mouth)
Also, mouth breathing at night is linked to cavities and dental issues.
Some people experiment with mouth taping at night as a gentle nudge toward nasal breathing. It’s not for everyone, but it can be helpful when used under practitioner guidance.
Take a second right now to notice your breath.
Are you a nose breather…or a mouth breather?

What if intentional breathwork each day could make you more productive, emotionally resilient, and focused?
Here’s a non-exhaustive list of the cascading effects of breathwork:
-
Regulates your nervous system → leading to less overwhelm and better decision-making
-
Supports deeper sleep → which improves hormonal balance, detox, and energy
-
Increases emotional resilience → allowing you to pause instead of react
-
Enhances digestion & immunity → by shifting you into rest-and-digest mode
-
Improves focus and memory → thanks to better oxygenation and vagus nerve tone
And over time?
That mental clarity and resilience can spill into every part of life.
Parenting, relationships, career, self-worth.
Your breath is free, always available, and incredibly powerful.
