Hello ,
It actually looks like winter, as I woke up an looked out the window to a beautiful blanket of show. Slow down a bit, linger a little longer, savor in your senses and settle. your body, heart and soul will thank you.
At last Tuesday's Group Visit, a fellow member shared this book, check it out.
Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times
As you look at the Wheel of Change Infographic highlight this week, remember: it’s not failure, it’s feedback. Every pause, restart, or step sideways is part of the process. The wheel isn’t asking for perfection—just awareness and gentle honesty about where you are right now.
ISH will be closed 1/28–2/2 as I head to a work retreat. I’m looking forward to dedicated time to reflect, refine, and thoughtfully evolve the ISH membership so it continues to best meet the needs of our community. I’m excited for the seeds being planted next week and the next level of growth they’ll support for ISH.
Lead with kindness,
~Lynn

Transtheoretical Model of Change |
|
Real, lasting change doesn’t happen all at once. It moves in phases - curiosity, readiness, action, momentum, and sometimes even setbacks—and each stage has its own wisdom.
Understanding where you are in the change process can bring more self-compassion, clarity, and forward movement (without the pressure to be “perfect”). |
