Hello ,
Let's talk color!
As spring is sprouting so are the early tender greens. Spinach Arugula and baby kale to name a few. Eating seasonally and locally offers a profound safety input to our physiology on the path to vitality.
Today we are focusing on GREEN and the LOVE system of health.
Green foods contain a diverse group of phytonutrients that support detoxification, circulation, cellular protection, and metabolic regulation.
It’s a good reminder that nourishment (adding) feels very different from restriction. When we nourish the body well, things begin to soften: energy steadies, cravings calm, and the system feels supported instead of pushed.
Healing rarely comes from force. It comes from the right conditions. Introducing safety signals through seasonal foods is a simple way to nourish.
Small, consistent nourishment shifts physiology more than extremes.
With EASE,
~ Lynn 🌈

"Green foods are heart loving. Green supports a healthy heart."
In Dr. Deanna Minich’s 7 Systems of Health, green represents the Love System — our cardiovascular system, circulation, and emotional connection. It is the color of renewal, elasticity, and expansion.
Green foods support optimal circulation and healthy blood vessels through key nutrients such as vitamin K1 (phylloquinone), magnesium, potassium, natural nitrates, folate, antioxidants, and fiber.
Green leafy vegetables are rich in polyphenols and flavonoids — compounds that support blood pressure regulation, endothelial function, and
protection against oxidative stress. Simply put: green foods are heart-loving.
Love System Invitation This Week
Add one intentional green food daily.
A handful of arugula. Steamed broccolini. Sautéed collards. A spoonful of avocado oil. Green tea in the afternoon. Fresh herbs like basil or cilantro.
Let green be a practice — not just a color on your plate, but a way of supporting circulation, resilience, and the steady kind of love that sustains both body and heart.
