Hello ,
This time of year, it can feel like everything is blooming… unfortunately the beauty you see in the blossoms also can trigger symptoms. Allergy season is often framed as a pollen problem. But what I see in practice, year after year, is something deeper.
Everyone is exposed. Not everyone reacts.
The difference is not the pollen itself. It’s the total load your system is carrying.
When the body is already navigating inflammation—whether from stress, gut imbalance, environmental exposures, or immune dysregulation, seasonal inputs like pollen can become the tipping point.
Not the cause, but the amplifier.
So instead of asking, “How do I avoid pollen?” A more helpful question becomes, “What is my system already holding?”
Last Tuesday at group visit we plotted out our own personal bucket to create awareness. From the awareness we were able to make informed changes to decrease the load in our body buckets.
