Hello ,


I hope this finds y'all doing what lights you up this Memorial Day weekend.  I am enjoying sunny weather with my daughter in Seattle, yep you heard me right .... the sun goddess is shining upon us even in Seattle.


I love traveling and have been doing a fair amount of it this spring.  High points, a visit with each of my daughters on opposite coasts but both in cities NYC and Seattle.  I love to get my city fix during these visits and then return to our sweet little Durango.   Travel is good for me, step out of routine and my inspiration and ideas flow!  


May at ISH has focused on movement, today we tap in to JOY FILLED Movement!  Listen to your body and how you feel after different types of movement, if joy is inspired the prescription is to REPEAT!

Sustainable movement isn't about discipline or pushing through. It's about finding what genuinely feels good in your body — and doing that.

For some people, that's dancing in the kitchen. For others, it's a slow walk through the neighborhood, a yoga class, a swim, or gardening. There is no wrong answer.

Research on exercise adherence consistently shows one thing: people do what they enjoy. The movement routine you'll stick with is the one that brings you some version of joy — whether that's the joy of dancing, of being outside, of quiet and rhythm, or of connection with others.

What kind of movement do I actually enjoy?

Maybe it's something you used to love and have moved away from.

Maybe it's something you've never tried but are curious about.

Give yourself permission to explore it this week.
