Hi ,
I hope this finds you ALL enjoying the feel of summer. The buzz in Durango this time of year signals travel, tourists, longer daylight, river trips, hiking or sitting outside just a bit longer to enjoy.
We embarked on a 4 day journey across the country to Rodanthe, NC. A sweet and simple town on the outer banks of NC. My husband has family roots here so it always feels a bit like going home.
During our travels, what really struck me this time was the "feel" of each area.......
The vastness of Eastern CO and Western Kansas
The industrial feel as we got closer to St Louis, where we got to see my mom and enjoy dinner and a restful sleep
The smell of midwestern evenings (my roots)
The Lushness of Virginia and West Virginia
And Finally the power and awe that the ocean so unabashedly inspires
What are you noticing?
What has become so part of your environment that you barely notice anymore?
How can you tap into your senses to inspire a new view?
Joyfully,
~Lynn ๐
