Hi ,

September is in full gear!
The mornings are cool and crisp and the afternoons still warm our bodies.  I love this time of year!

In my Whole Spectrum Elevation course we have been in the ROOT system of health.  Because the ROOT system of health aligns with the lower body we had a great conversation about feet last night.  Our feet take us many places through out our life.

How can you honor your feet?

Treat yourself to a detox foot bath this weekend!

1/2 cup Epsom Salts
1/2 baking soda

Joyfully,

We would love to hear from YOU!

We had a great discussion last Group Visit on Fiber!  I will post a replay of the presentation in next week's email.

A member shared this yummy fiber rich easy recipe to keep you regular.
-2 Tbs Chia seeds
-2Tbs Hemp hearts
-2 Tbs golden flax seeds
Soak in nut milk of your choice (add milk to a little above the seed mix, liquid can be added to your desired thickness)
maple syrup or other sweetener to taste
Berries
Cinnamon or other spices.
Mix, put in the fridge to set up
prepare in small mason jars for quick on the go breakfast or snack.

Here is another yummy, fiber rich bread recipe -
https://www.mynewroots.org/site/2013/02/the-life-changing-loaf-of-bread/
We talked about subbing almond flour/coconut flour for the oats, I have not done this but if you try it let us know if it works!

Questions that came up:
I consulted with Jessica on the following:

What is the difference between prune juice and plum juice?
Prunes have higher fiber because of the dehydration process, less water and this is true for nutrient content as well.

Smoothies and blood sugar spike even green smoothies can cause the quick blood sugar spike because of the carbohydrates
Add protein and fat to the smoothie or eat along side to SLOW the blood sugar response.

What are YOU celebrating, what new tip or tool is supporting you these days?
