From downtown Durango: Travel north on Main Avenue / Highway 550 and turn right (east) onto 37th Street. Go 0.1 miles to the corner of North Bennett and 37th Street. Pioneer Park is on the left.

GARGLING!!!
Simple easy VAGAL toning exercise

Gargle with intention to really move and contract your palate this will in turn stimulate the vagus nerve and activate your gastrointestinal system and other rest and digest parts of our parasympathetic nervous system

Gargle long enough and deep enough to make it a bit challenging. A two-second light gargle may be equivalent to using a 2-pound dumbbell to strengthen your arm versus a 10-pound dumbbell. It will not work unless it is more challenging. Do this exercise for several weeks to help strengthen the vagal pathways.  Start slower and increase intensity with time.
